Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with company policies, ensure data security, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or above to work at ALDI.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks following company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is considered.
